Our firm regularly consults on a variety of historic property and historic neighborhood matters. Past projects include:

• Helping a major southeastern city determine the property value impacts of historic district designation ordinances.
• Determining the impact of historic district designation on house price appreciation over a 15-year period for a state agency and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
• Consulting with the National Trust for Historic Preservation on the appropriate methods for assessing property value impacts in designated-historic neighborhoods.
• Analyzing sales prices of historic residences both inside and outside of a major historic neighborhood for a local historic preservation association.
• Studying the economics of historic preservation in small towns and comparing those to similar studies in larger cities for a state historic preservation agency.
